Meliá Hotels International, the leading Spanish hotel group today announced the addition of Gran Meliá Nha Trang and Meliá Nha Trang, expanding its Vietnam portfolio into the country's world-renowned destination.

 

 

The new Gran Meliá Nha Trang and Meliá Nha Trang, scheduled to open in 2023, are owned by KDI Holdings with its focus on real estate development in Vietnam. The two new additions will expand the group's footprint in the country up to 15 properties, continuing their dedication to provide exceptional hospitality with a Spanish touch to this thriving market.

Following the Gran Meliá Hotels & Resorts brand purpose of 'dedication of a life well lived' and Meliá Hotels & Resorts brand's essence of 'Soul of Things' as well as the promise to cater to every aspect of guests' wellbeing, the Gran Meliá Nha Trang and Meliá Nha Trang will bring the authentic Spanish luxury and warmth delivering an exceptional leisure experience to the destination and guests.

Nha Trang is a coastal city and capital of Khánh Hòa Province, on the South Central Coast of Vietnam. It is well known for its beaches and scuba diving and has developed into a popular destination for international tourists, recognized as one of the most beautiful bays in the world.

Both hotels are located at the integrated resort complex Vega City, on the coast of Nha Trang, known as the City of Arts and Entertainment in Vietnam. Vega City was created to become a symbol of artistic architecture as well as an impressive new entertainment destination in Nha Trang and Vietnam. Hosting a variety of facilities in a vast 44-hectare site, Vega City Nha Trang presents the historical Promenade of the Stars, the dazzling Dance of Lights show, coral reef park in the coastal bay, a tropical Beach Club, and unique artwork displayed in every corner.

Gran Meliá Nha Trang and Meliá Nha Trang will count with 96 beach-front villas and 370 rooms respectively. Both hotels will also feature a variety of international dining options, excellent wellness services including swimming pools, beach bars, fitness centres and the finest spas with Spanish warmth and thoughtful, added extras. Meliá Nha Trang will also feature retail shops and exclusive MICE Facilities. The unique location of both hotels also allow the guests to visit the main attractions in the area within easy access, including Ponagar Tower, Long Son Pagoda, Nha Trang Beach, and Bo Ho Waterwall. Meliá Hotels International has resumed work on a robust expansion plan in the next two years, opening new hotels across China, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia in the APAC region by the end of 2021. Further expansion plans will consistently grow the existing portfolio of 50 properties across the region within the next five years.​
